Tygiel to pojemnik używany w odlewnictwie do wytapiania metali o stosunkowo niewielkiej temperaturze topnienia, takich jak miedź , cyna , ołów , stopy brązu , stopy niklu oraz elektrum .
Tworzenie
A crucible is made from clay via clay forming , and must be fired in a pit kiln before use.
Usage
When the finished crucible is placed in the input slot of the firepit , the crucible GUI opens. Ore nuggets to smelt can be placed into these four input slots. When the crucible is heated using fuel with a temperature above the ore melting point, the ores liquefy within the crucible. When the crucible moves to the firepit output slot, the crucible can be removed with tongs and the metal poured into an empty ingot mold , tool mold , or anvil mold .
You cannot smelt ingots or unfinished work items directly in the crucible. In the crafting grid, you have to break them down to metal bits with a chisel placed in a slot above them. Those metal bits can fit inside the crucible.
- Note: If a player breaks the crucible from the firepit before heating, any ore nuggets inside the crucible will fall out of the container.
Storage
Crucibles can be:
- Placed and
picked up from a solid block as any pottery item. You can place 4 crucibles on one block.
- Carried in the player's inventory.
- Stored on/in:
- Shelves
- Containers
- The input slot of the firepit.
