Obtaining

Carrots can be found growing in the world. Carrot seeds can also be found in cracked vessels .

Growing

Mature carrots

Carrots can grow in temperatures from -10 to 32°C. They require 1.2 months (10.8 days) to grow at default 9 day per month settings, and go through 7 growth stages. Carrots use up 40% K nutrition (Potassium) from their farm plot. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, a knife or a scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple carrots and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer carrots and may not provide a seed.

Usage

Carrots provide 100 vegetable satiety when eaten raw. Carrots count as a vegetable for cooking and can be used in meat stew, vegetable stew, soups and porridges. Carrots benefit from storage in ceramic storage vessels, or in cellars . They can be further preserved through pickling . Carrots stay fresh 21 days if you keep them in your inventory. After that, it takes 4 days for them to turn into rot . A full stack of 64 carrots will turn into 32 rot.
