Carrots are a source of food. They consume the same nutrient as flax.
Obtaining
Carrots can be found growing in the world. Carrot seeds can also be found in cracked vessels .
Cultivation
Carrots can withstand temperatures between -10 and 32°C but can only grow if the temperatures are positive. They require 1.2 months (10.8 days) to grow at default 9 day per month settings, and go through 7 growth stages. Carrots use up 40% K nutrition (Potassium) from their farm plot. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, a knife or a scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple carrots and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer carrots and may not provide a seed.
Usage
Carrots provide 100 vegetable satiety when eaten raw. Carrots count as a vegetable for cooking and can be used in meat stew, vegetable stew, soups and porridges. They stay fresh 21 days if you keep them in your inventory. After that, it takes 4 days for them to turn into rot . A full stack of 64 carrots will turn into 32 rot. Carrots are preserved longer when stored in a storage vessel in a cellar . They can be further preserved through pickling .
