Bears have both high health and high damage. Most bears are dangerous to players as well as to other animals.
Generierung
Polarbären werden in seltenen Fällen in der Nordarktischen Region generiert. Grizzly- und Schwarzbären werden in gemäßigten Regionen generiert. Panda- und Sonnenbären werden in heißen Regionen generiert.
Bears spawn on the surface , in grass, snow, or air. Most prefer forested areas with some precipitation, but trees are not necessary, and removing vegetation doesn't affect their ability to spawn.

After worldgen, the temperature etc. conditions for spawning are the same. However, bears will not spawn in areas of artificial light higher than level 7.

Verhalten
Grizzlybären können leicht aus einer 3 Block tiefen Grube herausklettern. Sie können über Zäune hinweggreifen, die 1 Block hoch sind, um eingepferchte Tiere zu töten. Sie werden Wildschweine und andere Tiere jagen. Polarbären können Spieler vom Grund einer 4 Block tiefen Grube aus verletzen und sogar entkommen.
Preys
Panda bears and sun bears will not hunt any prey, but will still defend themselves if they are attacked. However, it is recommended to avoid getting too close to them, as they might feel attacked and can defend themselves.
Zähmung
Bären können nicht gezähmt, aber für tierische Ressourcen getötet werden.
Ernten
Spieler können einen Bären mit einem Messer schlachten, um die Beute zu erhalten. Shift+right click bis der Schlachtprozess beendet ist, sich das GUI öffnet und dem Spieler erlaubt, die Beute zu entnehmen.
