Les ours ont beaucoup de points de vie et font de très grands dégâts. La plupart sont dangereux pour le joueur et pour les autres animaux.
Apparition
Les ours bruns et les ours noirs apparaissent dans les régions tempérées, bien que l'habitat de l'ours brun soit un peu plus septentrional que celui de l'ours noir. Les pandas et les ours malais apparaissent dans les régions chaudes/très chaudes. Les ours polaires apparaissent seulement dans les régions froides/arctiques.
Conditions d'apparition à la création du monde
Les ours apparaissent en surface , sur un bloc d'herbe, de neige ou d'air. La plupart du temps ils préfèrent les régions boisées avec des précipitations, mais les arbres ne sont pas absolument nécessaires, et détruire la végétation n'affectera pas leurs conditions d'apparition.

Comportement
Tous les ours peuvent attaquer les animaux par dessus une clôture de hauteur 1, même s'ils ne peuvent pas sauter par dessus pour entrer dans l'enclos. Les ours bruns et noirs, tout comme les pandas, peuvent s'échapper sans problème d'une fosse de profondeur 3. Les ours polaires, moins lestes, ainsi que les ours malais, trop petits, ne peuvent sauter qu'une hauteur de 2 blocs [4]. Les ours polaires, par contre, peuvent nager plus vite que les autres ours[5]
