Cracked vessel

From Vintage Story Wiki

This page was last verified for Vintage Story version 1.20.7.

Cracked vessels are found in most ruins. These containers provide resources when broken using an empty hand or any tool. Malefactors have a 12% chance to drop the whole vessel instead. Treasure Hunter traders sell cracked vessels, and Commodities traders purchase them for a much higher price.

Summary

Each type of cracked vessel has its own loot tries, which determine how many attempts it will make. If the number is not an integer, it means the number of tries will be rounded down, with a chance for one additional try. During each try, it selects one item with a quantity between the minimum and maximum, and it cannot select a different item from the same item list, even in a different try.
