Boards are the lumber components used for crafting and building wooden items including wood planks blocks.

Creation

Boards are crafted using a saw and a log or wood plank blocks in the crafting grid. Boards and wood planks are freely convertible, but logs cannot be reassembled from boards.

Storage

Boards can be stored in stationary containers or stacked in piles of up to 48 on a solid surface. Stacks of boards may be placed on top of each other, similar to sticks and firewood .

In order to stack boards, hold the boards in the active hand, and sneak-click to place a board onto the space identified in the crosshairs. Each time the mouse button is pressed, a board will be placed onto the selected block, which will add to a stack. When a stack is complete, and a player has more boards to add, a new stack will be created above the existing (filled) stack. To remove boards, click the right mouse button while aiming at the stack.
