Usage
A few crafting recipes use raw hides:
Oiled hide

- lamellar armor
- fur coat
- knee-high fur boots
- fur gloves
- fur lined reindeer herder shoes
- reindeer herder fur coat

Depending on the ambient temperature, the freshness might be extended by placing hide(s) in a container such as a chest or clay storage vessel. A raw hide may be placed directly on the ground like a rug. When the period of freshness expires, a raw hide begins to rot. After 24 hours 1 hide becomes 1 rot.
See Pelt for details on curing raw hides to make pelts.
See Leather working for details on soaking raw hides to make leather.
