A rift ward is a special construct used to stop temporal rifts.

The rift ward requires the following items to craft:

Usage
The Rift ward once placed requires a Temporal gear as fuel. It will rotate and make some noise and "block" temporal rifts present as well as preventing new rifts from appearing for 14 days. Its information box will tell you how many rift it has prevented so far.
Lore
Since this device is crafted using Jonas parts , it is safe to assume that it was created at first by inventor Jonas Falx.
Jonas Falx is a very important character in the game's story. Several Lore Books mention his name, but most important of all is the five-part narrative entitled Reflection .
