- Locust nests in underground caves.
- Metal spikes on the ground under locust nests.
- Piles of junk in ruins and under locust nests.
Usage
Repairing
Metal parts are used to repair broken translocators found in ruins . Each damaged translocator requires 2 metal parts and 3 temporal gears to be repaired. Note: If your character's class is Clockmaker, you only need two temporal gears and two metal parts.
Crafting
Metal parts are used to craft:
- Advanced Jonas parts
- Tuning spear
- Rift ward
- Resonator
- Night vision mask
- Base return teleporter
- Terminus teleporter
Lore
The color of the metal parts is very similar to the color of the Jonas parts . And just like the rusty gears or the temporal gears , the metal parts cannot be crafted by smelting or forging metal, so it is safe to assume that they were also created by inventor Jonas Falx.
Jonas Falx is a very important character in the game's story. Several Lore Books mention his name, but the most important is the five-part narrative entitled Reflection .
