Items |
Cloth is an item used to create clothing and armor. It is made by combining flax twine into squares of linen, and combining those linen squares into a bolt of cloth. Cloth can be dyed in different colours.
Creation
Plain cloth is created from combining one stick with one piece of linen next to each other in the crafting grid.
Dyed cloth
- See also Dye
Plain cloth can be dyed in two steps:
- The cloth is soaked in a mordant bath composed of diluted cassiterite, alum or chromite. The mordant will allow the color to stay in the fabric.
- Then the mordanted cloth is soaked in the dye.
Usage
Cloth is used to make basic clothing, chairs, a bug net and the glider. Tailors can use cloth to create more unique clothing and tailored gambeson armor.
