Seit Version 1.14 des Spiels können die Spieler zu Beginn einer neuen Welt eine von mehreren Klassen wählen, die jeweils über bestimmte Stärken, Schwächen und teilweise auch über exklusive Handwerksrezepte verfügen.

Wie man eine Klasse wählt

Nachdem einer neuen Welt beigetreten wurde, wird dem Spieler das Charakterkreationsfenster präsentiert. Hier kann der Spieler eine von 6 Klassen wählen. Der Spieler kann auch .charsel in das Nachrichten-Fenster eingeben um wieder das Charakterkreationsfenster zu erreichen, jedoch funktioniert dies nur einmal! Falls du deine Klasse auf einem Multiplayer-Server neu wählen musst, wende dich an den Server-Admin und bitte ihn, den Befehl /player [name] allowcharselonce für dich auszuführen, wonach du den genannten Befehl verwenden kannst.

Bürgerlicher

"Lass dein altes Leben zurück. Krieche in die neue Welt."
"Bürgerliche sind allgemeiner Natur und haben eine Vielzahl von Erfahrungen. Sie haben zwar keine besonderen Fähigkeiten oder Stärken, aber auch nicht die Schwächen jener, die sich spezialisieren."

Die Klasse der Bürgerlichen ist die Standardklasse des Spiels und wird oft als Allrounder-Klasse bezeichnet. Sie wird in der Regel für neue Spieler empfohlen, die den Einstieg in das Spiel suchen, da sie keine positiven oder negativen Eigenschaften hat.
