Lamellar armor
The lamellar armor is a type of armor that can be made both in the stone age as well as the copper and bronze age.
Creation
The Lamellar Armor can, as the name suggests, be made from pelt and lamellae. There are wooden and metal lamellae with vastly different durability and protection.
Wooden Lamellae
The wooden variant requires different amounts of firewood, pelts and resin per armor piece.
Metal Lamellae
The metal lamellae are made from either copper or any form of bronze metal by smelting and pouring the liquid metal into the lamellae mold. For a full set of Lamellar Armor, one would need at least 6 pelt and 27 lamellae pieces.
Armor Tiers and Durability
Different types of armors offer different protection values and durability. Additionally, they may hinder your movements speed and add to your hunger gain.
Having the least penalties for walking speed, HP regeneration and bow accuracy/draw charge - depending on the metal used - makes lamellae armor suitable for surface or underground exploration.
