Shoulder gear is clothing which can be worn in the player's shoulder slot. This includes all capes, aprons, ponchos, and cloaks, as well as some robes, scarfs, collars, and other types of clothing.
There are 28 shoulder clothing items (as of 1.19.8). They provide between 0.1 and 3 warmth.
