Items |
A night vision mask is a device that can be crafted with Jonas parts and other advanced materials. It is used to see things at night or inside caves. It requires Temporal gears as an energy source.
Crafting
The night vision mask requires the following items to craft:
Ingredients | Crafting Recipe |
---|---|
1x Night vision mask emitters 1x Cupronickel ingot 1x Night vision lens 1x Night vision mask power assembly 1x Electrum plate 1x Jonas sub-assembly (A difference gear assembly) 1x Jonas part (Dual valence emitter) 1x Lead plate 1x Metal parts |
Usage
The night vision mask requires energy to work properly. The player needs to insert a temporal gear in the mask. The mask will be powered for 24 hours of use. The remaining time of use is displayed in the mask's information window.
The night vision mask needs to be equiped in the helmet slot of your character's equipment window. This means that your head will not be protected from blows when you wear it since it does not provide any protection.
But, since the player does not need to equip a torch or a lantern in their off hand while wearing the night vision mask, they can wear a shield instead for better protection.
Lore
Since this device is crafted using Jonas parts , it is safe to assume that it was created at first by inventor Jonas Falx.
Jonas Falx is a very important character in the game's story. Several Lore Books mention his name, but most important of all is the five-part narrative entitled Reflection .
