A Honeycomb is a useable item produced by bees. Honeycombs are a source of honey and beeswax.
Obtaining
Harvesting
Honeycombs can be obtained by either harvesting wild beehives, or from breaking skeps filled with domesticated bees as a part of the beekeeping process.
Looting
They can be obtained sometimes in ruins by breaking forage or arctic supplies cracked vessels.
Purchasing
Honeycombs can be purchased from agriculture traders for an average price of 1 rusty gear each.
Usage
Honeycombs can be squeezed over a bowl or a wooden bucket to extract 0.2 L of honey and leaving 1 usable beeswax in the player's inventory for each honeycomb. Despite the game's wording, honeycomb cannot be pressed in a fruit press to extract honey and wax, and must be used over a bowl or bucket.
