Resin is a crafting material that can be found leaking out of pine and acacia trees. It is mainly used to construct items for use in mechnical power.
Obtaining
Naturally generated pine and acacia trees have a chance of spawning with a leaking log containing resin as part of its trunk. This means that pine or acacia trees planted by the player can never spawn a leaking log. Trees that spawn a leaking long will spawn in groups. If one is found, another one is typically close by. Resin can be harvested without needing any tool. Resin can be continuously harvested every 168 in-game hours which equals 7 days.
Resin can also be purchased from the commodities trader for 1.5 to 2.5 gears.
