A parchment is an item used to label crates and craft books.

Creation

There are two different methods to craft parchment.

Hides

Use shears onto a small scrapped hide that was made with leather working.

Flax

How to obtain 1 Linen fiber pulp in a barrel

Place flax fibers into a barrel with at least half as much water (you can place a stack of 16 flax fibers in a full barrel). It will turn into linen fiber pulp after 24 hours of sealing.

You can use a sieve to transform 4 Linen fiber pulp into 1 parchment.

Storage

Parchment can be stored in stationary containers or placed on the ground.

Usage

Label

A labelled pine crate containing bauxite stones.

A parchment can be used to make labels for empty crates.

Place one charcoal, limestone or chalk in your hand to write on a crate's label by holding Shift and right clicking on it.
