Broken pieces of this armor can be found in Ruins, but it is a rare find, and in the Resonance Archives.

You can purchase broken pieces of the Blackguard armor set from a Treasure Hunter Trader for an average price of 26 rusty gears per piece.
Renovating
Though you can still use it in its broken state, the Blackguard Armor can be renovated twice to get back to its pristine condition. With each renovation, the armor gets more durability and provides more protection.
From broken to damaged
You will require 9 Iron chain to renovate the broken Blackguard armor set to its damaged state.
Different types of armors offer different protection values and durability. Additionally, they may hinder your movements speed and add to your hunger gain.
Can be compared to an Iron Plate Armor with lesser penalties to the former, it is best to repair it to its full condition.
