Ores are mined blocks allows the player Casting, Blooming, Smithing, and Carburizing. Depending on the ore used will allow the player to use different methods, for example iron is can be carburized, while copper cannot. Ores can be surface ores or deep ores.

Note that ores cannot be placed back into its original form as they drop either nuggets or chunks.

Obtaining

Ores can be found on the surface as surface ores or found below as deep ores. Finding surface ores usually means there are deep ores below.

Usage

Ores can be smelted into molten variants of that ore, this is done usually in a fire pit and crucible. Molten ore can then casted into a mold. Blooming allows ores that require more heat than a fire pit can provide to be smelted down. Smithing is when an ore is processed into an ingot and then smithed or manually molded into an available recipe. This could be weapon blades, tools, or another item. Carburizing is when Iron is carburized or transformed into blister steel and then manually hammered and worked into Steel.
