Meat stew is a consumable food item in Vintage Story. It is a type of meal that can be cooked by players in a cooking pot.
Creation
Meat stew must be cooked in a cooking pot over a firepit. It requires at least two pieces of red meat, poultry or raw fish for the recipe to work - bushmeat from wolves cannot be used in cooking recipes. Meat stews can optionally take two extra ingredients in slots 3 and 4 of the cooking pot. These can be a fruit, meat, or vegetable.
One unit of ingredients in each slot will produce one serving of meat stew. The recipe can be doubled, tripled or multiplied further to create more servings, up to a maximum of four servings.
Usage
Once created, the meat stew is stored inside the cooking pot. Players can then use an equipped bowl or crock to transfer it to those items. The bowl will pick up one serving of stew which can then be eaten. The crock will allow players to store the cooked meal longer and extend its shelf life.
