Scale armor is a type of metal armor.

Creation

The body and leg parts of scale armor are made from chain armor armor parts and scales of any kind.


Armor Tiers and Durability

Different types of armors offer different protection values and durability. Additionally, they may hinder your movements speed and add to your hunger gain.
When wearing scale armor, healing effectiveness is reduced by 17%, hunger rate increases by 12%, ranged weapon accuracy decreases by 10%, ranged weapon charge time increases by 20% and walk speed is reduced by 7%. These values are slightly higher than those on chain armor and significantly lower than those on plate mail.
