Bones can be harvested from slaughtered wild or domesticated animals. Multiple bones can be obtained from large animals such as bighorn sheep and one in medium animals such as wolves, wild pigs and hyenas. They are sometimes absent in small animals such as hares, foxes, chickens and raccoons.
Domesticated animals can provide a good source of bones through animal husbandry.
Uses
Animal bones can be milled with a quern manually or through windmill mechanization to produce bonemeal. Bonemeal can be used as a fertilizer to add nutrients to the soil in farming. It can also used to craft any variant of stone Knife or stone Axe, which gives off a slightly higher durability than the stick variant.
