Sulfur is a mineral component found in only in these sedimentary rock layers : sandstone, limestone, claystone, chalk, chert, shale and conglomerate.
It can be used for advanced medicine purposes: Honey-Sulfur reed poultice or Honey-Sulfur linen poultice. Another usage is for making Blasting powder, a component of Ore blasting bombs.
Sometimes sulfur can appear in surface deposits bits like copper or coal.
