Spears are weapons used in combat, available from early game stages.

Creation

The raw material used to create the tool head determines the crafting process required:

• Knapping: Stone spears can be crafted by knapping.
• Casting: Spears cannot be made by casting.
• Smithing: Bronze alloy and copper spears can be made by smithing, which requires 1 ingot.
  • Note: Spears can also be smithed from gold and silver.

Special: Spears cannot be made from iron.

Usage

The spear is a weapon available to players from early stages of the game. The spear has an attack range of 3.5 m and can be used in both melee combat and as a ranged weapon.

Harvesting

The spear is not used to harvest materials.

Combat

• Attacking a mob (melee combat): place the spear in an active hotbar slot and press or hold left mouse button to strike the target.
• Attacking a mob (ranged combat): place the spear in an active hotbar slot and press right mouse button to cast the weapon at the target.

Crafting

The spear is not used in any current game crafting.

Storage

Tools are items commonly used by players and are generally equipped in the hotbar. Spears do not stack in inventory or when placed in containers. The tool rack is a specialized wall mounted storage container that allows players to store tools. Tool racks are made of 6 sticks in the crafting grid and once placed, can store 4 tools each. Tools are placed from an active hotbar slot and removed using the right mouse button to an empty space in the hotbar.
