Cassavas appear as a wild crop. They usually found in warm to hot climates.

Harvesting

Player farmed Cassava crops mature at growth stage 9. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, knife or scythe to harvest. When fully mature, each seed planted in a farm yields one cabbage and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields no vegetable and may not provide a seed.

Usage

Unlike most grown crops, Cassava cannot be eaten raw or cooked unless it's skin is removed. For this the raw cassava must be place in a Barrel filled with water and wait for a day. Once the process is complete, the skin can be removed by using a knife of any kind which it can be eaten raw or be used as an advanced cooking ingredient in:

  • Meat Stew (1-2)
  • Vegetable Stew (1-4)
  • Soup (1-3)
  • Porridge (1-2)

The Cassava can be dried which take 6 hours; which once it is dried it cannot be eaten or cooked and must be grind in the Quern. Cassava flours are treated as Grain which can be made into bread or used in Pie Making.

Storage

Once harvested, Cassava may be stored in the inventory or stationary containers.
