Natural Generation
Flowers naturally generate when the world is created. They do not generate in all types of climates, while some climatic regions generate more than one type of flower. Fields of wildflowers are indicated by colored patches in the landscape and can be seen on the player's world map.
Special Case Generation
Horsetail will spawn on player created farmland blocks. This is the only flower that spawns into the world after generation.
Propagation
Flowers do not spread and cannot be farmed. They can only be obtained through breaking wild plants.
Flower Types
Obtaining
Flowers can be obtained by breaking it with an empty hand, though some tools increase breaking speed.
Usage
Beekeeping
Flowers are required for bees to propagate in apiaries. Flowers can be replanted in any soil type.
