Spears are one of the best early to mid game weapons available. Their long reach allows them to be used much more safely than swords, but sadly they cannot be made of high tier materials.
Variants
There are several variants that you can craft. Each variant has a different durability and attack power. A stone spear head can be crafted via knapping and the metal variants have to be crafted using smithing.
Currently, all spears have a range of 3.5 meters.
