Wild crops provide seeds that can be planted on farmland. Growing crops need nutritious soil , so finding high fertility soil (terra preta) is a plus when foraging. Farming requires a hoe , crafted from stone or metal as well as a nearby water source, sufficient rainfall, or daily watering with a watering can. Berry bushes have no special soil requirements, but depleted soil will slow the growth rate of crops. Crops also require specific nutrients, so be sure to rotate crops accordingly.
