The bloomery is a functional block that can be used in the advanced stages of the game for smelting glass and metals like iron that require temperatures that cannot be obtained using the firepit. It accepts most coal fuels, except brown coal (though it does accept charcoal), and boosts their temperature to be able to smelt quartz and iron ore.
