Players may only process one size of hide at a time, small, medium, large, or huge. Also, each of the sizes use different amounts of solution. One huge, large, medium or small hide require 10, 6, 4, or 2 litres respectively.

* Limewater: 1 unit/litre of water and 1 lime makes 1 unit/litres of limewater - which means a full barrel of limewater requires 50 lime.
* Diluted borax: 5 units/litres of water and 2 powdered borax make 5 units/litres of diluted borax - which means a full barrel of diluted borax requires 20 powdered borax.

Pelts are currently only required for the [[hunter's backpack]], a cheaper variant of the leather backpack with only 4 slots, as well as the Lamellar armour recipes. Keep in mind that pelt recipes only accept medium or large pelts - small pelts have no usage in the vanilla game at the moment.

Lederverarbeitung ist eine spezialisierte Serie von Fass-(barrel) Rezepten, mit denen Spieler rohe Häute in Leder (leather) umwandeln können.

Benötigte Materialien=

  • Fässer (Barrel) zur Verarbeitung roher Häute,
  • Ein Vorrat an Eichenstämmen, zur Herstellung von Tannin. Tabelle der Baumarten (Trees).
  • Ein hölzerner Eimer, um Flüssigkeit zu übertragen.
  • Ein Vorrat an Kalk oder pulverisiertem Borax.

Hides

Hides can be looted from wild or domesticated animals upon death. The following animals have a chance to drop hides:

Lime & Powdered Borax

Lime can be extracted from loose limestone, loose chalk stone or, in emergencies, from sea shells - by either crushing them with a hammer in your inventory crafting grid, or grinding them in a quern.
