The crucible is a tool used for smelting relatively low melting temperature metals such as copper, tin, lead, or bronze alloys.

Crafting

A crucible is made from clay via clay forming, and must be burned in a fire pit before use.

Use

When the finished crucible is placed in the input slot of the fire pit, the crucible GUI opens. Ore nuggets to smelt can be placed into these four input slots. When the crucible is heated using fuel with a temperature above the ore melting point, the ores liquefy within the crucible. When the crucible moves to the fire pit output slot, the crucible can be removed and the metal poured into an empty ingot mold, tool mold, or anvil mold.
