Obtaining Stones

To make stone tools, look around on the ground for loose stones of a type that can be used when knapping.

  • Types of stones that are useful for tool making include:
    • Andesite
    • Basalt
    • Flint
    • Granite
    • Obsidian

For instructions on how to knap stones and flint, see the knapping page.

Obtaining Sticks and Logs

Players can find sticks on the ground and use these to create tools. If there are no sticks on the ground, look around for "branchy leaves"

There are two type of leaves in the game, regular and branchy. Regular leaves have an extremely low chance of dropping sticks and saplings. Branchy leaves can be broken with only a player's hands which is guaranteed to yield you sticks. However, using shears increases the harvest of sticks.

Felling an entire tree using an axe and chopping the log at the bottom of the tree will break the leaves too. however stick and sapling yields will be lower than if shears are used on the leaves.
