Saws are a tool that allows players to break wooden blocks quicker and craft certain wooden blocks (particularly planks). A saw can be used for cutting down trees, however unlike an axe only a single block is cut at a time, and cutting wood (or otherwise breaking blocks) does not use up saw durability.

Variants
There are several variants that you can craft. Each variant has a different durability and mining speed. Saw blades can be made from metal via smithing.
