| Berry bushes are used to farm berries, which are a source of the fruit component in player nutrition. Bushes can be replanted on any type of soil, but may not be placed on other types of terrain blocks (ex: sand, gravel, rock). As noted above, currant bushes may be planted/placed on top of another currant bush. When placed, bushes will take some time to flower, after which, they will produce berries. Berries are a food source and may be eaten directly, or used as a component in porridge meals and jam. See the [[cooking|cooking guide]] for recipes including berries.
