- Jan-Jun, if the temperature is 10-18°C at 4pm, it’s good for planting turnip seeds.
- Turnips are a decent crop to focus on for a balanced diet. They cannot tolerate heat, and they use the same nutrient as most grains, but compost is reasonably easy to obtain in quantity.
- Due to their fast growth and slow spoilage, turnips make good feed for domesticated boars and sheep.
