If used for its intended block, the ranking of tool materials, from worst to best in terms of breaking speed, are: Stone, Flint, Obsidian, Gold, Silver, Copper, Bismuth bronze, Tin Bronze, Black Bronze, Iron, Meteoric Iron, and Steel
