* Grains such as rye can be [[Meal|cooked]] in a [[Cooking pot|pot]] to make [[Porridge|porridge]].  Peeled cassava may be added to porridge as a vegetable component, but cannot be the base ingredient.  Once dried, the way to get grain nutrition from cassava is to grind it into flour.  Flour can make [[Dough|dough]] for [[Bread|bread]] and [[Pie|pie]], but cannot make porridge.
