But the maximal height possible is only 2 blocks. * You do not need to till the soil with a hoe to plant berry bushes. * Berry bushes do not require watering. * Berry bushes can be placed in {{ll|Room#Greenhouse|Greenhouses}} to benefit from the 5°C bonus<ref>Since v1.13</ref>. * Cranberries provide less satiety than other berries, but have double the fresh time than others. * The game selects a random amount of time between 8 and 9.6 days for the berry bush to both flower and ripen. * The game will divide the random amount of days by the {{ll|World_Configuration#Configurations_not_in_the_customize_world_screen|crop growth rate configuration}} when determining how long flowering and ripening will take. * Once both the flowering and ripening stages are finished the berries will appear, ready to be harvested with {{RMB}}. * Once berries become ripe the game will pick a random amount of time between 32 and 38.4 days before it will reset the bush back to empty. This number is not affected by the crop growth rate configuration. * Berry bushes can be trimmed with {{ll|Shears|shears}} with {{RMB}}. After harvesting the berries, the berry bush will return to its original look and you will need to trim it again if you want to maintain its trimmed look. |
