|It is recommended to try putting down the coffin before even planning where the furnace will go, as it can only be build in the direction the overlay shows. The direction pointed out by the coffin will be consistent in the whole world, but can differ between worlds. Unfortunately, it cannot be changed, and a furnace build in any other direction then the one given by the overlay will not function.
