Shears are a tool that allows players to break leaves quicker. Using shears on leaves breaks not only the leaf block the shears were used on, but also all others in a 3x3x3 cube centered on the targeted block. They can be very useful for a player wishing to gather many sticks or saplings at once.
Variants
There are several variants that you can craft. Each variant has a different durability and attack power. Shears can be made from metal via smithing. Shears are one of the few tools where the tool is created directly rather than by smithing a head that then needs a handle added.
