Shears.png

Shears are used to break multiple leaf blocks from trees simultaneously.

Creation

Shears can only be created by smithing. They can be made of the metals below, each metal changes durability and attack power.

Material Durability Attack Power
Copper 1000 1.0
Tin bronze 1750 1.5
Bismuth bronze 2000 1.0
Black bronze 2250 2.5
Iron 3800 3.0
Gold 750 1.0
Silver 750 1.0

Usage

Shears harvest the targeted leaf block as well as all leaf blocks in a 3 wide cube centered on the targeted block and allows players to gather many sticks and saplings from trees.

Combat

Shears do damage based on material, which is detailed above.

Storage

Tools are items commonly used by players and are generally equipped in the hotbar. Shears do not stack in inventory or when placed in containers. The tool rack is a specialized wall mounted storage container that allows players to store tools. Tool racks are made of 6 sticks in the crafting grid and once placed, can store 4 tools each. Tools are placed from an active hotbar slot and removed using the right mouse button to an empty space in the hotbar.
