Harvesting

Naturally occurring or player farmed rye crops mature at growth stage 9. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, knife or scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple rye grains and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer grains and may not provide a seed.

Usage

Rye grain may be eaten without cooking and can be used as an advanced cooking ingredient in:

  • Porridge (2-4)
  • Bread (1 grain = 1 loaf)
