Natural Generation
Rice can be found growing in the world.
Harvesting
Naturally occurring or player farmed rice crops mature at growth stage 10. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, knife or scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple rice grains and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer grains and may not provide a seed.
Usage
Rice grain may be eaten without cooking and can be used as an advanced cooking ingredient in:
- Porridge (2-4)
- Bread (1 grain = 1 loaf)
Storage
Once harvested, rice may be stored in the player's inventory or stationary containers.
Decay and Preservation Methods
When stored dry, grains decay slowly. No additional methods need be applied to preserve grain.
