Planks are wooden blocks constructed using the lumber components boards and are used for building structures.

Creation
Planks are crafted from boards in the crafting grid. Three variants can be created, a block, a slab (half-block) or stairs blocks.
Grid Crafting
Bamboo Variant
Planks can also be crafted from bamboo using bamboo stakes. Bamboo slabs and stairs cannot be crafted.
Looting
Aged Wooden Planks cannot be crafted, and must be looted from ruins. Rare aged plank variants with wallpaper exist as ruins loot. Planks can be broken by hand, but it is faster to use an axe.
Usage
Fuel
Planks are flammable and can be used for fuel in a firepit.
Building Component
Planks are primarily used to create player structures. Planks made from different wood types have a different appearance, depending on the wood type used to create the blocks.
