Natural Generation
Parsnips can be found growing in the world.
Harvesting
Naturally occurring or player farmed parsnip crops mature at growth stage 8. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, knife or scythe to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple parsnips and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer parsnips and may not provide a seed.
Usage
Parsnips may be eaten without cooking and can be used as an advanced cooking ingredient in:
- Meat Stew (1-2)
- Vegetable Stew (1-4)
- Soup (1-3)
- Porridge (1-2)
Storage
Once harvested, parsnips may be stored in the inventory or stationary containers.
Decay and Preservation Methods
Even when appropriately stored in storage vessel within a cellar, vegetables decay. Pickling methods should be applied to preserve vegetables.
