Farmed onions take 2.47 months (22.2 days) to grow at default 9 day per month settings. Naturally occurring or player farmed onion crops mature at growth stage 7. Break the crop using left mouse button with an empty hand, [[knife]] or [[scythe]] to harvest. When fully mature, crops yield multiple onions and at least one seed when harvested. Harvesting immature plants yields fewer onions and may not provide a seed.
