Ladders are blocks that allow players to climb vertically. To climb a ladder, the player walks against it, causing them to go up, or they may jump while inside the ladder. Pressing jump to climb is slightly faster than walking into it. To descend a ladder, the player crouches.
Note: Drifters can climb ladders as well.
