Noże to narzędzia używane do zbierania trawy , pałki wodnej i naturalnego pożywienia , w tym mięsa zwierząt. Noże są używane do wytwarzania przedmiotów z drewna i obróbki skóry.

Tworzenie

Surowiec użyty do stworzenia głowicy narzędzia określa wybrany proces obróbki:

• Łupanie : Wszelkie kamienie do wyrobu narzędzi.
• Kowalstwo (1 sztabka): wytworzony z dowolnego metalu nadającego się na narzędzia.
• Montaż, z patyka (dla każdego ostrza) lub kości (tylko dla krzemiennych i kamiennych ostrzy):

Wykorzystanie

Zbieranie

Knives can butcher dead animals and certain mobs, such as drifters . Players need to place the knife in an active hotbar slot and harvest the corpse until the butchering interface opens, displaying harvested items. Once all items are removed from the butchering menu, the corpse and the butchering menu can both be removed with the Esc key.

Knives can also be used to harvest plants, by placing the knife in an active hotbar slot and left-clicking on the target block. Plant resources that must be harvested with a knife are dry grass , reeds and papyrus . Some plants can be harvested faster by using a knife, such as mushrooms .

Combat

Knives can be used to attack mobs in melee combat, by equipping it in the hotbar and striking mobs with the knife. Knives have the shortest melee range of any weapon.

Crafting

Knives are sometimes used in grid-based crafting in order to create certain items, especially those that need to be scraped, sliced or cut. The knife is not consumed in the process but looses some durability, and can be removed from the grid after crafting. If the player does not remove the knife from the crafting grid when closing the crafting menu, the knife will go to the first available empty hotbar or inventory slot, in that order.

Knives can be placed against a wall, stored in containers and placed on tool racks .

History

• Prior to version 1.18.0-pre8, knapping stone blades would produce two knife blades, not one. Stone knives also had lower durability before this version.
