Natural Generation (Spawning)
Hyenas will spawn in light levels XX and higher, at temperatures between -XX and XX, and as little as XX rainfall. They spawn in groups around X on average.
Behaviors
Adults are hostile and will actively hunt nearby players within 10 blocks. The pups are non-aggressive and do not drop any items.
Domestication
Hyenas cannot be domesticated, but can be killed and butchered for animal resources.
Harvesting
Butcher the animal using a knife in the active hand. Hold Shift + Right Mouse button until the butchering process is complete and the GUI opens to allow players to remove resources.
- Hyenas are a source of Bushmeat, Raw hides, bones and fat.
